Wear a Mask - Save Lives

23 September 2020

Sharing is caring, but not when it comes to infections. Wearing a face mask is an easy and simple way to keep infectious diseases that are transmitted through droplets (breathing, coughing and sneezing) at bay, and has been common practice for decades in countries like Japan, Hong Kong, China and South Korea. In its latest update, the Government has made wearing face protection compulsory when you come for a treatment. As you will need to keep covered all the time think about which type will be most comfortable to wear and to breathe in, especially while you lay on your tummy. If you feel that you may have problems or have questions, contact me before you come for your treatment and we can discuss options to make your session still as pleasant and efficient as possible.

Make sure that you wear your covering correctly and that it covers both your mouth and nose. You can use a disposable or a reusable mask, which are now easily available in shops and online retail, or you can use a bandana. You can even give it a try to make your own one (see Government guidance https://www.gov.uk/…/how-to-wear-and-make-a-cloth-face-cove… and try out this fun page https://www.bigcommunitysew.co.uk/ ).
